MagicCo designed a security concept at the infrastructure layer: observe suspicious behavior across the Xfinity network, identify bot-driven activity, preserve a trace of what happened, and mark affected packets to warn consumers before the threat reached them. The work also became part of the public-policy conversation in Congress.

Challenge

Give people a warning about automated threats without relying on every device, browser, or application to recognize the same attack independently.

Solution

MagicCo invented a network-level detection and warning system that identified bot behavior across the network, tracked the event path, and inserted warnings into affected packets so consumers could understand and avoid the threat.

Results

The concept advanced Xfinity's infrastructure and security thinking and became part of conversations with Congress about consumer protection at network scale.
